development nightmare !


Hi guys. In this log i wanna tell you "what ways i crossed to make this game". As you know i didn't publish it yet, but we are not so far to give you a demo of the game. So let's see how i decided to make "Jim Nightmare" and why the topic is "development nightmare"???

How i find this idea?
Everything started from that day. After publish a Beta of my last game (Super four Square) i wanted to make a new game in a new style! I had a plan to make a 3d-open world game called "Robber Redemption". As you can guess it failed. So i decided to use that game's characters name for a little project. I went to my PC and started to look around for a good style. I browsed many games that finally i saw "next door" game. So i make a whole plan of what i need on Unity and i started to make my game.

How i started to build?
At the first i thought, making a pixel art game is so easy! Just paint and it's done! But it was worst!!! Now i had to make a team or leave this project. Honestly i imagined wrong about making team. I thought it's like you go somewhere and say: Hello! I wanna make a game! and the others join you and you can find new friends and at the last make an awesome game! But it's not like the reality. I could find some artist and a good designer after a few month. Because i am programmer and making a game alone is hard for me. I made a game until a good level with this new team but suddenly all the connections in my country, destroyed!!! I didn't chat with my team about 4 month and most of them left. When i came back 1 month ago, i saw everything is changed and i really can't look around for a new team again! Just the designer stayed and until now we don't have an artist.

Final hint !
If i wanna tell you a hint is this: Never arrive game making professional if you don't have money.
